I m looking for the job in Okinawa
by yu754Hello, in summer I m going to Okinawa in Naha to see my fiance and by occasion i would like to find some small job. I m french. My japanese language is basic.
Is it possible if I have a tourist visa? And where can I try to find some information about job there? Help me please. Thanks

Hi,
On a tourist visa, it is very hard if not at all possible to find a job. If you can get a working-holiday visa from your country, you can look for any employment other than being a bartender. But things are a little differnt in Okinawa, very lax. In Naha, there are any number of private english schools and bars too, Some english.
Doing private lessons is hard, i tried. And getting into private schools, they worry about proper papers. Have you found anything yet? i know this is a late reply.
