Virtual Okinawa Blog

I saw BC st change in the time I was there.  I remember we all would play a game of getting one drink at evey bar and would see who made it the furthest down one side of the street. When I fist got there it was hard to do on one side. In 87 it was easy to go up and down the street a few times on both sides.  Changed to a one way street too.

Was stationed in Naha Wheel in 68-70.  Loved Naha city and I worked sometimes for the USO (vol).  Would love to hear from someone.

I was on Okinawa in the early 80’s.  I loved the culture and the people.  Of all the places i’ve lived (and they were many) Okinawa was tops.  While ther I lived off base in Ojana.
