I am a marine biologist who has just relocated to Okinawa. I have worked for NOAA’s Southwest Fisheries Science center as a Fisheries Biologist as well as for Scripps Institution of Oceanography doing Oceanographic research. In addition, I have taught as a naturalist for the Scripps Birch Aquarium and the San Diego County Marine Floating Lab. I am looking for any way to participate in the marine community here in Okinawa and any suggestions are welcome. Thank you for your thoughts.
